If Summy is not behaving how you expect, email hello@speaking.computer. Include what you were trying to save and what happened, but please do not send private documents or account tokens.

Saving something

Open the share sheet from the app you are using and choose Summy. If it is not visible, use “More” to add Summy to your favourites.

A summary is taking a while

Some pages and larger files take longer to process. Leave Summy open for a moment and pull down on the library to refresh. If an item shows an error, open it and try generating the summary again.

Sign in

Summy uses Sign in with Apple. If you hide your email address, your account will use Apple’s private relay address and will still work normally.

Delete your account

Open Summy, choose the menu button, open Settings, then select Delete account. This permanently removes your Summy account and saved data.
